Journal Index of Exploratory Studies is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Democratic Arab Center for Strategic, Political and Economic Studies.

Focus and Scope

Founded in 2020, Journal Index of Exploratory Studies is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It covers the latest developments in the broad areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. With its uniquely broad coverage, the journal offers readers free access to all new research issues relevant to Humanities and Social Sciences. While the journal strives to maintain high academic standards and an international reputation through the suggestions of the international advisory board, it welcomes original, theoretical and practical submissions from all over the world.

Publication Frequency

Journal Index of Exploratory Studies publishes articles on a continuous basis. Articles are published in the current issue as soon as they are peer-reviewed, accepted, copyedited, and proofread, allowing a steady stream of informative quality articles. The journal then archives the articles within 4 issues: January-March; April-June- July-September; October-December. In the continuous publication, articles may be submitted at any time. They still undergo the same process of peer review and preparation, but this can begin right away and ends as soon as the article is ready.

Types of Contributions

Authors should consider their chosen article type carefully; the journal accepts the following types of contributions: research articles, review articles and book reviews.


Open Access Policy

This is an open-access journal, i.e. all articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, copy & distribute. The journal is published under the CC BY 4.0 user license which defines the permitted 3rd-party reuse of its articles. 

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee for Journal Index of Exploratory Studies.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

There is no Article processing charge for Journal Index of Exploratory Studies.

Conflict of Interest

Conflicts of interest may exist when professional judgements concerning a primary interest have the possibility of being influenced by a secondary interest (e.g.: financial gains). It is to be noted that even perceptions of conflicts of interest are as important as the actual conflicts of interest.

Any agreements with study sponsors (for-profit or non-profit), which interfere with the authors’ access to the study data, ability to analyse or interpret the data and publish manuscripts independently according to their own decision, should be avoided by authors at all costs.

A declaration of interest for all authors must be received before an article can be reviewed and accepted for publication.

Indexing & Archiving

The journal is indexed by: Google Scholar, e-Marefa, Shamaa, Arabic Impact Factor, German National Library, and archiving in: Philpapers, Internet Archive.

Plagiarism Screening

All accepted articles are screened using plagiarism checking software.

Advertisement Policy 

The journal does not currently host adverts on the website.
